[My Account] How do I add/edit my email address?

You can add or edit the email address linked to your Shopee account via the Shopee App or Shopee Website.

 

Via Shopee App

Go to the Me tab > Select ⚙ Icon > Select Account & Security > Select Email Select Verify by Email OTPEnter OTP for verification > Select NEXT > Enter New email address > Select NEXT. After this, you will need to verify your new email address via the verification link that was sent to its inbox. 

 

Via Shopee Website

Select your username > Select My Account via the dropdown list > Select Change beside Email > Enter Password for verification > Select Confirm > Enter New Email Address > Select CONFIRM. You will then need to verify your new email address via the verification link that was sent to its inbox. 

 

⚠️ Note

  • Each email address can only be linked to one Shopee account.

  • For security reasons, we require additional information to verify your account.

  • As a safety measure due to the requirements set by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), changes to your email address can only take effect after 12 hours.
  • If you’re not able to change your email address, please contact our customer support for assistance

  • Please ensure that you are the rightful owner of the Shopee Account and have provided all the required information for the email address change to avoid the cancellation of your request.
  • Please note that changing your email address may result in missed important communications, especially if important emails are automatically filtered to Junk. Please double-check all details to ensure the new email address is spelt correctly to avoid losing access to essential accounts or missing alerts about suspicious activity. Additionally, please ensure that the new email address is properly secured to protect yourself against phishing attempts or unauthorized access.
